She Laughs Without Fear of the Future

Faith over fear

I started my day with reading, then writing in my journal and flipped back a few pages, and a verse I wrote down out of Proverbs 31:25 was so timely. "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." We women set the tone, don't we? We are the wheel in our home. We are more powerful than we know. I want to be that woman who is clothed with dignity, not just the most elegant clothes I can find but almost a heavenly garment that is protective. The type of clothing that genuinely matters since beauty fades. I want to be strong and keep my body in shape.

I purchased a yoga headstand standing chair that I keep in my kitchen; I'm determined to do headstands each day and develop my core. I want to laugh without fear of the future, especially now. I can do that only that if I limit listening to the news, which replaces my faith with fear. If I carry around anxious thoughts, how can I have peace in my heart or home and set the tone?

Today I started the Oprah and Deepak Chopra 21 day meditation. I'm 19 days late but better late than never. It was hard to sit still, but I want to sit in solidarity with the goodness and prayer that is being offered up during this time because I genuinely believe there is more good than bad in this world. So for today, since leggings and sneakers have been my attire while sheltering in, I want to be reminded that being clothed with dignity and strength are more relevant, and laughing at the future thankfully comes one day at a time.

P.S. I have linked the items I used today. Enjoy!
