Passion

I found this psalm in my reading and honestly believe it.  Psalms 138:8 states, "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands." So who hasn't wondered what is the purpose of life?

Why was I born? What is my place in this world? Well, me too! I believe we are born on purpose for his purpose. I resisted this for years because this hard-headed blonde only wanted to do my thing. I went against my intuition and married at twenty-one. I knew at that time that music was my love, but my need for attention from a man very much like my dad was greater, and so I put my purpose on the back burner for nine years. Now I will say it took me two more times to move in that direction, because we all believe we know what is best for us.

Why do we believe that lie? For if the Great Creator made us, then surely he had a purpose.

It's like buying a new car and ignoring the manual. I know every human on this earth has struggled with direction for their life. I lean on Matthew 25:14 regarding talents. In this passage of the bible, it suggests that everyone has them, and are proportionate to the capacities they possess. As capabilities expand or diminish per individual, an expectation is unique for each.  So my quote, Passion illuminates the path; experience has yet to walk," is truly your soul's guiding.  I think that to try this out, one must go in the directions of their dreams and observe what doors' are opening.

Then trust your intuition! It's our internal compass.!

P.S. I bought these necklaces for my daughters and I to remind us we have passions to pursue & we we are going places!
